The sail weekend is confirmed for June 24-25. If you are unable to attend you must submit a leave form from the administration section of the webpage.
Sail weekend is cancelled due to the weather, it is rescheduled for June 24-25 weekend.
Let’s hope we get nicer weather by then.
284 Marconi will be attending will be conducting a mandatory Sail weekend May 27-28, 2017. This training will take place at the Octagon Pond in Paradise and is a mandatory part of their Sea Cadet Training.
Cadets can be dropped off the Sail Center off McNamara Drive, Paradise (See attached map) Saturday, at 8:00 am. Cadets are to be picked up from the same location at 5:00 pm. The same drop off and pick up points for Sunday. Lunch will be provided both days. Parents may be required to pick cadets up depending on the weather.
Your child should bring appropriate clothing for sailing.
- Water bottle
- Warm sweatshirts and warm pants or sweatpants
- Wool socks and extra pairs of sports socks
- 2 pair of footwear- 1 for land and 1 for sailing (preferably sneakers, have to be closed-toe shoes)
- Warm outdoor jacket. Rain coat and pants if they have it.
- No jeans are to be worn sailing
- Cadets will get wet, a towel and extra clothes should be brought to the site.
Also please ensure your child brings any necessary medication with them (i.e. inhalers).

July 1- Beaumont Hamel Parade- Times and location to be sent later.
Members of the Drill Team are asked to arrive at the Knights of Columbus tomorrow (Tuesday, May 16) at 5:15pm.
Cadets this Tuesday, Knights of Columbus, 6:30- 8:30 pm, no uniform. See you there!!
Any cadet who needs their cap tallies (ribbon around their hat) tied and/or fixed please bring your white top(hat) with you to the school tomorrow morning.

The band is asked to arrive at the school at 8:30 am tomorrow, and the remainder of ships company arrive by 9:00 am.

Cadets tonight will be at the Knights of Columbus from 6:30-8:30pm in civilian attire. All cadets must bring their boots, cloth, and polish.

ACR on Saturday May 13th
Cadets are required to be at the school at 9am on Saturday. All cadets must bring their boots, polish and cloth. Lunch will be provided. Cadets need to be picked up at 2pm and will then go home for a few hours to have supper and change into their uniform. Cadets have to return to the school NLT 5pm in full uniform.
