Saturday-Sunday (June 9-10)– This weekend is our Spring Sail Weekend. Due to the sail center scheduling we are only able to take 10 cadets. Those cadets have been notified. Please see the attached letter for the sail weekend. Cadets will need to be dropped of 8:00 am at the Sail Center and picked up by 4:30 pm each day. Lunch is provided.

Monday (June 11)- Parents Meeting/ Camp Supply Night. All parents who cadet’s have been selected for camp or of cadets that applied are welcome to attend. The meeting is 7:00-8:00 pm at MQW School. Cadets who need anything from Supply are encourage to come during this time also. There will be NO regular cadets next week.

Sail Weekend 2018

Community Clean Up

Tonight we will be doing a community clean up. No uniform, dress warm!  Meet at MQW School 6:30-8:30 pm.

Sail weekend information will be handed out tonight. Those who are attending you NEED to return you parental consent form.

Camp Stove – Missing

Hi Everyone,

One of the camp stoves that we used today was accidentally taken home in a backpack. Please contact us if you have it, we have to return them to supply on Monday.

Update Pippy Park Hike – Saturday, June 2, 2018

This weekend we are planning a hike for the Cadets in Upper Pippy Park/Three Pond Barrens. We hope to see as many people attend as possible. If there are any questions, please feel free to send us a message!

Recycling Drive Tomorrow

Tomorrow we will be hosting a recycling/bottle drive, no uniform. Parents are needed to help with this activity, any spare time to volunteer is great appreciated, even if you can’t volunteer the whole time we would love any help you can offer.

If you have recyclables you wish to donate please bring them as we will have a bin in the school parking lot. Please encourage family members and friends to do the same. Every little bit counts.

Cadets are encourage to wear any corps clothing they have and can wear their black ball caps to this event. 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at MQW School.

Announcements

Wednesday (May 23)- Canteen at St. Peter’s Parish Hall. Work dress. The following cadets have volunteered:

6:30-7:45 pm- Young, Young, Cumby and King

7:45- 9:00 pm- Parsons, Keats, Keats and Stokes.

Monday (May 28th)- Change of Command Ceremony. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Full uniform, cadets are to arrive by 5:45 pm. This event will conclude by 7:30 pm. Please join us in sending warm farewell wishes to Lt (N) MacPhee and welcoming Lt(N) Martin as the new Commanding Officer.

Bottle Drive- This will be reschedule for Saturday May 26th 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Leaving and ending at MQW School. Cadets are asked to wear their corps clothing for this event. Parents who are available to help can email Lt (N) Martin at kmartin@284marconi.com

Monday- May 21st- Training Night, no uniform. MQW School 6:30 pm- 9:30 pm. There will be a presentation from the RNC K9 unit.
