Wednesday, September 19th– Those cadets who volunteered for canteen are to be at St. Peter’s Church Basement on Ashford Drive 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm, in work dress. The volunteers are Cadet R. Keats, Parsons, Cross, and Dawe. Thank you for volunteering.

Sunday, September 23rd– Those cadets who volunteered are to be at Mary Queen of the World Church basement, 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm, no uniform, but wear your corps t-shirt if you have one. This is to help with family fun day. The volunteers are Cadet D. Keats, Pearce, Brendon, and Thompson. Thank you for volunteering.

Monday, September 24th– Regular Training Night, work dress, 6:30-9:30 pm, Mary Queen of the World School.  Remember to spread the word about cadets, all are welcome ages 12-18. Parade position try outs will be this night.

All Phase 4 & 5 cadets are to submit a resume no later than September 24th to the Administration Officer. The resume should include a cover letter stating what positions (parade or office) that you wish to apply for this year. There can be multiple positions within the same department, do not limit yourself. You can submit your resume or any questions by email to gwhite@284maroni.com or print and deliver it on Monday. Welcome to the 2018-19 Training Year!

Welcome back to our new 2018-19 Training Year!

September 10th will be our welcome back in-routine night, 6:30 pm -8:00 pm at Mary Queen of the World School. There will be no uniform for cadets however cadets are to come with a list of uniform parts they will need for the current year. There will be no exchanges, however a list with the approximate sizes will be needed. Please take an inventory of your uniform before Monday.

Parents will be required to come into the gym to complete paperwork at the beginning of the night or at pick up. All cadets and their guardians are required to compete the annual validation forms and new medical questionnaires.

All new recruits are welcome on Monday, applications for membership will be available and those cadets and guardians will be provided with more information. We look forward to seeing you!

Cadet Travel

All HMCS Acadia course cadets will arrive at 1150am this morning at St. John’s Airport. Course cadets from CTC Argonaut will arrive at 3:55pm today. #marconisummer18#welcomehome

Basic Courses Travel

Three week course cadets will arrive at St. John’s International Airport, Friday, July 27th at 3:30 pm. Parents are asked to be at the terminal awaiting their arrival. If you have an questions please email gwhite@284marconi.com

 

General Training Travel

All General Training cadets will arrive Friday, July 20th, at 10:30 am. It will be a charter flight arriving at St. John’s airport 10:30 am. Ensure parents are there upon arrival, cadets will not be released to anyone other than legal guardians, and they must be present at the airport arrival gate.
